Ultra-Flex Rubber vs. Classic Polyurethane
Which is Better?
Some swear by rubber bushings in their motor mounts. Others prefer the feel of polyurethane. We say, "It's a personal decision."

A few considerations.....

  •  Daily driver vs. off-road king?
  • Sporty feel vs. cushion comfort?
  • Engine finely tuned vs. tuned in a fog?
  • Driveline pristene vs. survived a few drops?
  • Changing transmission mount with the motor mounts?
What's the dog say? Around here, the Brown Dog's word is law. And since he's nearing middle-age, we run on our proprietary Ultra-Flex Rubber motor mounts. (We also use our YJ as our daily-driver. Now days, we rarely attempt extreme trails).
