Making your own tire carrier??  This is the first thing you need.  The AtoZ Fabrication tire carrier hinge is the most used kit on the market. The standard spindles are good for up to 31" tires--the Mega Spindle is designed for larger tires or if you are putting accessories on your swingaway! The spindles fit into a hole you drill in your bumper, 1.25" for the standard spindle/1.5" for the Mega spindle, and include all bearings, races, seals, and hardware needed for installation. Once you weld the spindle into your bumper and weld the 4" tall, 2.25" OD hinge tube onto your tire carrier you have a well sealed and very strong assembly. These can also be used for any fabrication project you have that needs a heavy duty pivot--there are thousands of creative ways to utilize these kits.  There is no warranty or liability implied on this product as we cannot control how it is used or installed.
