Clayton Off Road high clearance rear axle bracket kit provides strength, clearance and improved ride quality over OEM style brackets. Whether your installing a new axle, or replacing your stock bent or broken OEM brackets, this is the axle bracket kit for you. The strength comes from 1/4 laser cut lower control arm brackets. Clearance is addressed by moving all the brackets flush with the bottom of the tubes. By moving the brackets flush with the bottom of the tubes, you flatten out the lower control arm angles which will improve overall ride quality. However this will push your axle farther back. In some situations this may help for some lifted vehicles. Please make sure your axle can be pushed back approximately 1 inch. Otherwise your suspension will need to have adjustable control arms so you can thread in the lower arms to compensate. The kit also comes with a shock conversion kit. This gives you a high clearance lower axle mount. A frame notch bracket in order to have enough clearance for the shock during articulation. And then a top mount. This top mount is longer then needed, and should be cut down per application. Depending on shock length, lift height, and desired uptravel this will be cut to suite your specific need. The kit also comes with a spring retainer to make sure your coils can't fall out during extreme articulation.

Note: this kit does not have provisions for the upper control arms or sway bar links and is designed to work with Clayton Offroad long arm suspensions.
